Celebrating Two Years ~ DRAGON KNIGHT’S RING!

As I end this month long celebration, I’m thrilled to share the final book in the Order of the Dragon Knights ~ Dragon Knight’s Ring! The surprise of the fifth Dragon Knight being Adam MacFhearguis was revealed in the last book, Dragon Knight’s Shield.

Did I plan on Adam becoming a Dragon Knight? A verra interesting question…

No. It was to be another. Yet, the moment Adam passed through the background in Rouen, France, I realized he was destined to become the fifth Dragon Knight. It was a total surprise. In fact, I really didn’t know much about Adam and Meggie. They were foreign to me. Yes, I knew they were lovers, but that was all. I didn’t know their personalities, only their physical features.

However, the moment I started writing their story, they stormed onto the pages with powerful voices–Meggie is definitely a MacKay, and Adam is as bull-headed as his MacFhearguis brothers. Their story unfolded, along with many surprises, twists, tears, and joy. And let’s don’t forget the epic battle that is coming!

Since this is the last story in the series, I’m still processing everything. It’s hard to believe that I’ve written five books, and they’ve been published in two years. Each story holds special meaning, but Adam and Meggie’s story brought hope, redemption, and closure. I believe in love and happily-ever-after, so I had to do the same for this couple. They deserved another chance, but it won’t be easy or what they expected. Always remember this saying, “A bloodline divided. A new order reborn.”

Here’s the blurb ~

Death destroyed their love. Yet, can a trio of Fenian warriors roll back time to reunite two lost souls?

Crusader, Adam MacFhearguis is on one last quest to the standing stones in Scotland where he seeks to bury the past. However, a silent prayer sends him to an unknown future and to his beloved Meggie. When he uncovers a shocking revelation, Adam questions everything about the woman he thought he knew and loved. He may have traveled the veil of ages, but time is now his enemy.

Margaret MacKay lives a life in the future without the memories of her past—her death. When Adam arrives at her door confessing he knows her, she is confused and wary. With each passing day, she yearns to learn more from this stranger. Yet, when a truth is revealed, can she trust the man to unlock the chains from her mind and heart?

Will love free the bonds to unite the two lovers who were doomed centuries ago? Or will evil finally claim victory over the Dragon Knights?

  1. Patty Kincheloe

While I can’t wait for this book to be released, I am sad that it’s the final in this series. I have loved every one so much and will definitely miss thresher great stories.

    • Aww…Patty, thank you for you kind words about the series. Though it is the last, I do have plans for writing books about the children of the Dragon Knights. 🙂

  2. Theresa

I’m curious to see if they stay in the future or go back to the past to be with the other Dragon Knights. I’m looking forward to Conn’s story. Hopefully soon? 🙂

    • Interesting, Theresa. Hopefully, you’ll be pleased by the ending. 🙂 As for Conn’s story, it won’t be out until next year. I’m still in the early stages of writing, but I love the direction he’s leading me.

      Thanks so much for visiting!

  3. Debbie McCreary

I expect Ring to end with a HEA for Margaret and Adam. I am so excited to read this, I just have one problem. The more I read about Ring, the more I want to go back to book one and read them all over again. lol <3

    • No worries! There will always be that HEA in my books. It may be tough getting there, but it’s definitely going to happen. Also, that’s why I revisited all the stories this month, Debbie. I wanted to look back from the beginning. Writing the blogs each week on the different books, brought back fond memories of when I was writing these stories.

Hey, you still have plenty of time to read the four previous books before Dragon Knight’s Ring is released! 😉 Hugs!

  4. Susan Fox

I wanted resolution for Adam and Meggie, hearts need to be mended for the whole family. I look forward to reading this story. You give your readers a vehicle and a chance to travel through time and place with your creative words. Thank You Mary!

    • I always believed in redemption for these two. Yet, it took years for me to unravel the pieces and see how it would unfold into a story. I truly hope you will enjoy the final outcome.

And thank you, Susan, for enjoying the Dragon Knights’ stories. xoxo

  5. Vici

Can’t wait to read. Very bittersweet that it is the final. You must be very emotional. What a whirlwind two years. Celebrate!!! Love you

    • Emotional, numb, surreal, feeling accomplished, proud…yes, Vici, all of those and more. There were some that said five books in a series might not sell. Long live the Dragon Knights!

Thanks so much for walking this road with me. Love with hugs back to you!

  6. Shannon Bryans

I am so excited to read this book – your stories just keep getting better! I can’t wait to see if Meggie & Adam stay in the future or if they go back to face their dangerous past. I expect a lot of suspense & a rip-roaring good story with a twist to the HEA!

    • Wow! Your words mean so much to me, Shannon! So thrilled! And you’re correct. There will be a lot of twists and turns with this story. I only pray you will all enjoy the outcome. 🙂

  7. I am so excited for this book to be released. I cried for Maggie when she died at the hands of her brother, but knowing that she and Adam will have a second chance makes me happy. I know you will gives us a great journey and hopefully an awesome ending.
You have a great talent with words, keep on writing and I will keep on reading!

    • I wept for all of them, Eniko. The Dragon Knights were a broken family for years. Meggie and Adam were the only ones who didn’t care about clan feuds, power, or relics. Theirs was one of love. So writing their story was different than the MacKay brothers.

Thanks for loving my stories, and there are many more planned! 🙂 xoxo

  8. Kay Boyce

I have the 4 previous books and have read them each 3 times. That’s how much I enjoy them. Am so looking forward to this one and I know it will be as good. I hope they go back in time and the 2 families can be together again but I s’pecs thats up to maggie, adam and you I was ever so sorry that maggie had to die that night It’s been just awesome to be a part of these and I hope you keep on writing as you are soooo good.. Thankyou ever so much mary, love you

    • Oh, Kay…Blowing kisses your way! Thank you for your kind words about my stories. Meggie’s death hurt me, too. However, I could not leave without giving her and Adam some resolution. Their story was always planned, but I didn’t know all the pieces.

I will continue to write as long as there are stories to be told and readers who want to read them. 🙂 xoxo

  9. I’m playing catch up since I’m new to the series. But Adam and Meggie will get their HEA. I look forward to Dragon Kinghts Ring. Though epic battles make me cringe, I’ll fight my way through it. LOL

    • This epic battle has many yelling, “Aye! About bloody time!” LOL! The villain was one that when I wrote his first scene, I had to leave my writing area and light a white candle. He made me sick.

We shall see what happens at the end of Dragon Knight’s Ring.

Thanks so much for stopping by, Tena! Thrilled that you’re reading my stories. 🙂
