Honey Cake
1 cup sugar
1 cup honey
1/2 cup vegetable oil
4 eggs
2 teaspoons grated orange zest
1 cup orange juice
2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
3 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Preheat over to 350 degrees. Grease and flour a loaf pan (9×13). Whisk flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt and cinnamon. Set aside
In a large bowl, combine sugar, honey, oil, eggs, and orange zest. Beat in the flour mixture and orange juice, mixing just until combines. Pour batter into prepared pan.
Bake for 40 – 50 minutes. Allow to cool and serve with warm honey and whipped cream.
